Flexible, convenient and great-value loans. With no fees or penalties, free loan insurance and reducing interest payments, it’s easy to see that our loans are different.

Member benefits when saving…
Saving money with us is a good idea! Annual dividend paid on your savings at the end of the year. Easy access to your savings. No hidden charges or fees on any transactions. Free life-savings insurance (to €3,000) and state-guaranteed savings (to €100,000).

Additional Member benefits…
Insurance: Members can avail of discounted health insurance, motor insurance, home insurance, and travel insurance.

Foreign Exchange: Members can avail of our foreign exchange service. Members can buy and sell most currencies, and pay only on collection. We also offer next-day delivery for currencies we may not have in stock when ordered before 12 Noon.

Members are part of something positive—Credit Unions engage in community-based lending—the whole purpose of Credit Unions is to channel the savings from those Members of a community who have spare cash (i.e. savings) to those who need to borrow, thereby generating income for the benefit of all Members.

Our only motive is to serve our members – not to profit from their needs.

All new Members are asked to provide their passport or other identity & address documentation before an account can be opened. There are several reasons for this.

    1. Fraud is a growing scourge across our society and therefore we need people to prove who they are before we can allow them to join this Credit Union.
    2. Identity theft is a growing business and this documentation helps us stop either your savings from being withdrawn by people pretending to be you, or people applying for – and getting – loans in your name, and disappearing with the money.
    3. In common with all other financial institutions, we are bound to verify & document the identity of all new Members by the anti-money laundering provisions of the Criminal Justice Act. That Act also obliges us to report to the Gardaí & the Revenue where we suspect that any funds being passed through the Credit Union may be the proceeds of crime, including tax evasion.
