Dear Member,
The credit union informed in its release just 12 days ago, that it would continually review the provision of its services as circumstances change and Government advices are released.
As you are aware, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar further addressed the nation on Friday, 27th March 2020, with further restrictions to public movement on all but essential services.
Your credit union is regarded as being such an essential service. We are also continually of the opinion that the credit union needs to play its part in not contributing to the spread of this virus.
Therefore, we provide this update on the provision of our reduced services for the next number of weeks.
Please bear in mind, the provision of these services may further change depending on the recommendations and advices of both Government & Health experts.
Opening Hours From Monday 30th March;
Claremorris Office opening hours: 10:00 – 12:00 (Monday to Friday, Closed Saturdays)
Ballinrobe Office opening hours: 10:00 – 12:00 (Tuesday to Saturday).
Both offices will operate on the basis of one member at a time permitted entry to the office.
Essential Services;
Cash Withdrawals.
Loan Applications (via phone, email, online via www.claremorriscu.ie)
Loan Drawdowns.
Lodgments
The credit union’s observance of footfall in both offices over the past two weeks strongly indicates that the vast majority of members attending to make relatively small lodgments are unnecessary during the current pandemic and are potentially exposing both members and staff to unnecessary risk.
We strongly urge and request members, who wish to make lodgements to savings/loan accounts to use the secure post boxes located at the front doors of both Claremorris & Ballinrobe offices.
Simply place your lodgment, full name & address, phone number and email contact details in an envelope, seal and deposit through the letter box in either office. We will email you a statement which will confirm your lodgment having being completed successfully.
Summary:
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your cooperation in these unprecedented circumstances.
We implore all members of our communities to observe any health recommendations in the fullest possible manner. Good health and safety to all.
