St. Colman’s Claremorris Credit Union continues to support students and families in our common bond areas with its Seamus Connaughton student bursaries.
We are delighted to announce that our 2017 winners of €3,500 are Marie Sloyan of our Claremorris office and Laura Pryce from our Ballinrobe office. Both were delighted to have secured the award towards their student costs and are pictured receiving their awards.
School Savers is back
Getting young people involved in savings is something that St Colman’s Claremorris Credit Union is actively involved in. We currently have a school saver scheme in place for the local schools of the Claremorris area and are due to recommence this service after the mid-term break.
We are also looking to launch this scheme in the Ballinrobe area and will be in contact with the schools in the very near future.
As part of the scheme, we will match the first deposit of the school savers up to €5, so if young savers lodge €5 they will end up with €10 in their accounts.
Giving back to our Community
The Credit Union has sponsored and donated over €30,000 to local clubs, societies and events throughout our common bond area over the past year. See where this money has been allocated to here.
